This trip provides everyone, including the most inquisitive, with a fascinating blend of sea mammals, birds, intertidal life and our maritime fishing ways.

Itinerary

Day One: Arrival at Adventure High at 11:00 am. Meet your guides and the rest of the group. Overview of what is planned for your adventure. Packing and organizing of all the gear and equipment and then head out to the starting point. All start and end locations are dependent on weather, winds and tides. At the beach/start point, lunch will be provided and then set up the kayaks and store all the gear in the boats. The guides will then go over safety and paddling techniques and then it's time to start paddling. Spend the afternoon kayaking and then arrive at your base camp on one of the outer islands. The evening will be spent setting up camp, preparing and enjoying dinner. Later, take a hike and explore your new home away from home and then relax around a fire.

Days Two, Three and Four: After breakfast and your much needed cup of coffee, the days will be spent paddling around Grand Manan, with lunch mid-day. Back at camp that evening for dinner.

Day Five: On your final day of kayaking, you will spend most of the day paddling along the beautiful coastline of Grand Manan and enjoying the wonders of nature. You will be picked up on this final day at 3:00 pm and taken back to Adventure High for a final repacking of your personal gear.

Upon booking you will receive a comprehensive registration package that will include an information booklet (which will include everything from what it will be like to what you need to bring), medical form and a release/waiver form.
